Brand new year approaching..

Its a brand new year! (in 4 hours' time)

I'm still dying to get that organizer book I saw at Commercial Press that day, at Cathay. Have a secret fetish to keep everything noted down in order, and I know I've got the discipline to do it. The one I lay my eyes on was so perfect! Boohoo. Cost $31 or $39 ++ so I didn't bear to buy it that day. Hehe. SOON SOON.

While some of you will be out counting down tomorrow night or celebrating/hanging out/chilling, whatever you call it, I will be WORKING. Enjoyable or what?!?! =/ Well at least the pay is good enough to be of motivation to me. Moreover, I dislike countdowns at crowded places. I guess the last bunch of people I will see before 2008 ends are my colleagues. Not lovely friends, family or Johnny. Never mind, see you all next year ok! :D

Anyway I'm gonna refrain from posting pictures in this entry because the next entry (which will be posted later) will be for my photography assignment.

Something worthy to be happy about is that I passed 2 of my papers so far! These 2 are the easier ones of the 5 papers I took. So I can really be mentally (& physically) prepared to fail the other 3 (almost entirely clueless). Meaning, retests! One of the Top 5 most dreaded thing on earth to me. But I'm really quite surprised/glad that I did quite well for the first 2 papers. *Gives myself a thumb up*

New Year Resolution for 2009:
1) To float smoothly through my last year in poly without repeating any modules.
(I can almost feel this can't come true oh gosh...)
2) Have better skin! :D How laughable. HATE DRY FLAKY SKIN.
3) Johnny to become fatter.
4) Back friends with this certain movie buddy who's ignoring me.
5) Earn more money to feed my hunger for good food and pretty clothes/heels/blahblah.
(Ahem.. Not gonna include SAVE more money cuz when I jotted that for 2008, depletion of $$ occur instead. Just hope I leave my bank amount untouched.)
6) Everything from my wishlist.
7) For all my loved ones to be in good health, most importantly.
8) That I shall not be greedy and make too many resolutions if I know I can't accomplish them.

Random joke:

Blonde Weighs a Baby

A blonde calls a pharmacy and asks if she needs an infant scale to weigh a baby. The clerk explains that many women figure out an infant's weight by weighing themselves while holding the baby on an adult scale, then the mother weighs herself alone and subtracts the second amount from the first.
"Oh, that won't work," replies the blonde. "I'm not the mother -- I'm the aunt."
