I have decided to use a simple vodka bottle to show the different effects when placed the source of light at different angles. The photo above, light is shone from the right. (To be more exact, SOUTHEAST direction) The shadow appears on the Northwest direction, straight line from where the light was shone from. The bottle cap appears as a silhouette as light is shone from the side of the bottle, so there is a dark shadow.

This time, the bottle is placed at the exact position but the source of light is shoned from the back of the bottle instead. The shadow is formed in front of the bottle, evenly spreaded. The bottle cap appears to be very bright as the light is shoned from a top angle, causing the side of the bottle cap to be very dark.

This photo is taken at a neighbourhood event at Jurong West. I was working at the venue, in-charged of the games corner. This little boy came to play the pool without permission, hence the cheeky expression on his face. He looks excited, trying hard to figure out how to handle the cue so as to hit a shot at the pool ball. Also, he seem to be very interested and curious about the game.

This photo is taken at Bugis junction's water fountain, one of the attraction for the mall, where little kids love to play and get themselves wet. I spotted an adorable little girl reaching her hand out to touch the water out of curiosity as there were many other kids doing it. Her expression is innocent and inquisitive, as she was deciding whether to touch the stream of water.

This photo is a Turkey Vulture, taken at the Jurong Bird Park during its KINGS OF THE SKIES (BIRDS OF PREY SHOW). The hand is that of a little caucasian boy who volunteered to help out during the show. The photo was taken just as the vulture was preparing to make its flight for an amazing demonstration of how it can glide through the wind. The Turkey vulture looks very stern to me but its wings look remarkable from the way it spreads out gracefully.

This photo is taken at Jurong Junior College's stadium field during my sister's Touch Rugby competition. The girl (from Nanyang poly team) holding the ball is the subject of my photo to display a decisive moment of her next move, when surrounded by her opponents, the JJC team's girls. From her emotions, I can feel her determination and seriousness in the game.
