COCO CHANEL

HI I'M SO EXCITED!!! My bro will be back from Milan in a few hours time with my Chanel Classic wallet! Its my first ever branded wallet so pardon me for this ridiculous euphoria.

I put in alot of effort into deciding the wallet I want! Most of you suggested for me to get a Prada. It was top of my list too. But way too common. That is the only factor that kept me hesitant. Other than that, I totally agree on its classic outlook and simplicity! :)

Since Bro said I'm free to choose whatever I please (its for my 21st), I went through Salvatore Ferragamo, YSL, Bonneta Venega, Louis Vuitton (almost decided on the Damier Ebene Joey wallet but the interior is a little mehhhh), Hermes, Mui Mui, etc etc. Trust me when I say I looked through every single wallet they have. Didn't even bother checking Gucci. Always had a blah impression.

Then one day I was comparing Prada and LV, Adam suggested we look at Chanel since I have a pair of Chanel earrings.

Love at first sight. I kinda like the one on the top left. But I prefer to just flip open my wallet without a clip so I chose the bottom one! Fell in love with the maroon interior as well. (But then later I went to the Chanel boutique to see and realise its more brownish.) Nevertheless, I still love it!

Ok here is the sad part. Bro called from Milan and told me its OOS ! I was so disappointed!!!! But then he told me there is a patent version of it! Exactly the same, but patent! K I'm tried googling for the exact pic but no idea why there isn't a clear pic of it. But here's the almost similar one in red! Mine's in black! And the interlocking Cs are not diamante. More like the one above (lambskin one).

I was actually thinking quite hard then. Patent is easily scratched. But I have also seen the lambskin one at the Sg's boutique. They showed me the display set and its kinda wrinkled and goes dull over time. So given a choice of course I want my wallet to be shiny la. Its reflective how you see the scratches? :p Ok fine, I think I'm consoling myself. But honestly I will still pick this one over Prada so I'm not complaining!

I'm still damn excited! Gonna lay all my credit cards and driving license and this card and that card by my bed so I can immediately put them all in when I wake up. HEHEHE. I also intend to draw alot of money to put inside. DO I SOUND VERY SILLY? lol!
